Exclusivity guarantee: We guarantee never to resell your Maestro CD to another rider in your USDF region or other competitive area or competition you specify, such as NAJYRC. In order to protect the originality of your freestyle, we sell only a very limited number of each Maestro CD; we typically plan on selling a total of two of each CD during different competitive seasons and in widespread locations.
Product description: All Woodwind Studios Maestro CDs are 4:30-5:00 minutes in length, excluding entry. Our Maestro CDs are tempo-adjustable and the music will be mastered to fit your horse's gaits. Maestro CDs are custom freestyles created especially for the collection.
Semi-custom option: If you desire music not available in our catalogue, we'll research and edit your choice of music for additional $100, a savings of several hundred dollars over the cost of custom freestyle. The freestyle will be added to the catalogue with the potential to be sold to another rider. If you don't want your music used by another rider, see our Custom Freestyles page for details and pricing. Your music choice must be approved by Woodwind Studios for inclusion in our catalogue.
Here's how it works: Send a full-size VHS tape, VHSC tape, or DVD (any size) of your horse. If you prefer, you can e-mail video clips or post footage in YouTube. Once gait tempos are determined, you'll be informed which Maestro CDs from our catalogue can be successfully tempo-adjusted for your horse. Listen to music clips at this website and narrow your selection to two freestyles. We'll adjust clips for you to try at your horse's tempos. Choose the freestyle you like best and the CD will be engineered to fit your horse's gaits.
CD production scheduling: We complete freestyles on a first come, first serve basis. We can usually engineer the freestyle within 1 week of your selecting music. We make every effort to accommodate your show schedule, but please allow sufficient planning time.
Restrictions: You must approve the music before we proceed with engineering. Maestro CDs are engineered from original masters which are stored in our software. These are not CDs which can simply be pulled from a shelf, mailed to you, and "tried"; significant engineering goes into the CD you receive, so that the music is customized for your horse's gaits. Once you approve music and we engineer the CD, the job is complete. If you decide you prefer a different Maestro CD, the fee to engineer new music is $375. Because we limit the number of clients we accept, once we assign you a spot in our production schedule, we cannot offer refunds. Re-editing of a catalogue CD is restricted to additional tempo adjustment and cost is based on $50 per hour.
