Atmospheric film music represents the latest trend in freestyle. You'll hear music from a wide variety of sources blending as though from a single soundtrack. Many different types of flute give continuity to the music. The rider requested the order of gait segments and timing of each segment.
This powerful film music was selected by the rider to showcase her large, impressive stallion. The music is seamlessly spliced from 25 different cuts of music to match video of the rider's choreography. The rider scores to 70% with her freestyle. We were the first to use the trot music heard in this freestyle!
For this high-scoring FEI Junior freestyle, we started with Spanish guitar as a musical basis. We recorded acoustic percussion in the studio and mixed with the guitar music for a spicy Flamenco freestyle.
